People try to engage in direct democracy because it’s an effective munition to ensure that the government create rules that match the public’s demands and needs. For the people or society to engage in direct democracy and to be achieved, there is a need for educated people in the society to have enough knowledge and understanding of the political topics in order to make the community moves forward and pick the right decisions to have stability. Lastly, people engage in direct democracy forms like using the referendum, initiative and right to recall in order to propose new laws and to recall any elected figure which allows the people to shape their political and economic life.
