This is the age of information. Not only because of the amount of it, but also because of the different ways we share it and present it: documents, photos, movies, podcasts, lists… We might just call it the age of information overload. We store all this information in piles of folders and files but… there are so many, we don’t have time to even read the titles! But what happens when you do need one of those files? Imagine you're at the library and you’re ready to start your research and all you need is to find the perfect source. What would happen if all the books were in huge piles, just like your favorite outlet store? You start looking, and you see so many great books, but none of them are related to what you need. Just like any library, it’s so much easier when you have an organized system for your files and folders! This is why we created HiTemp – a basic folder template for organizing your drive folders and files! How do you start? Copy the template into your team’s folder on google drive. Move all the files into the "To Sort" folder. Every time you have some free time, pick 10 files and move them into the right folder. What else? When creating new files: Name files correctly as soon as you create them. Avoid duplicate names or noninformative ones. Don’t go crazy with folder creation. Stay with one or two subfolders. Good luck!
