The following procedure allows you to create layouts using a library of parametric assets. Parametric assets are smart figures that allow parameters to be changed in real time. When opening “inventor”, check that the vault geico project file is active. New file. Select “Template J” the standard Factory layout in the project folder. When opening the file in the asset browser, open the volt asset library folder where the figures are divided by category. On first use, download the library in the temporary folder of your PC, right click on the asset folder of times select download assets. With a double click, select the figure to be inserted in the layout on the zero point or in the desired position. Once the positioning has been confirmed, it will be possible to insert other elements by connecting them together using the connectors. The smart connection is between connectors with the same color except for green, which is a neutral color. The positioned assets can be modified using the configurator, activated with the Open module to logic command in the Factory properties tab. For how to edit, see the dedicated videos by topic.
