Let’s talk briefly about how a PV plant is constructed and the various construction stages involved. Once the development stage is complete, which involves locating and securing the land and the permits, we can typically issue an NTP (Notice-to-proceed) to the EPC contractor. This marks the start of the construction phase and usually projects at this stage are fully bankable. Stage 1 would be leveling and flattening of the ground. Next comes the construction of the retention ponds which are critical to protect the plant from potential flooding during rainy seasons and storms which are frequent in Japan. Construction phase 2 is piling and mounting the poles into the land, generally this takes 24 months. Following this will be modules installation Other equipment installation such as the substation, warehouse and control remove are installed in the latter phase 2 construction T- line construction is a critical phase in construction as we activate the solar farm. This involves one. While the stages we just discussed happen sequentially, depending on the size of the project, they may all occur at the same time. For example, here is a drone view of our current Kyoto plant, 60+MW, our biggest project in the portfolio. You can see multiple sections at different stages of construction, from ground leveling, to mounting pilling poles, to fully module installed. The project is expected to reach COD January of 2023.
