Non-Christians, who did you meet that made you consider Christianity? While on holidays, I met an older gentleman who made me re-evaluate my entire life. He was a country guy with a thick accent. A little rough around the edges but you could tell he had a good heart. He spoke with a bit of a twitch and walked with a slight limp. Turns out that between the ages of 18-22, he was in and out of prison regularly. He robbed people, burgled houses and stole whatever he could. All he cared about was money and women. At 23 he got into a head on car crash with a truck at 100mph. The doctors basically wrote him off as dead, but they kept him in a coma for 3 months with the hope that he would live. 3 months later, he woke up. After learning to walk and talk again. He turned his life to Christ. By the time I met him, he was in his late 50’s. He had a loving wife, beautiful kids and most importantly an inspiring attitude. He said hi to everyone he came across - because as he explained to me the bible said to ‘love thy neighbor’ And you could see that for this man, every day of life was genuinely a gift. This was the one person that made me consider christianity.
