Honeywell is an American publicly traded multinational conglomerate corporation. It primarily operates in four areas of business: aerospace, building technologies, performance materials and technologies (PMT), and safety and productivity solutions (SPS). Honeywell started Gold standard PLM implementation project to migrate all of multiple Product data management systems under one PLM system (Teamcenter). As part of this project, Intelizign implemented SAP integration solution design for the migrated business groups in Teamcenter. Environment at Honeywell is Teamcenter 12 integrated with multiple SAP systems & Oracle using AIG 19.0. Intelizign did requirement gathering by connecting with the SAP team and Stackholders from different Business Units inside the Organisation. Intelizign performed the complete end to end solution design, consulting, development, testing. Documentation, training and Support. Intelizign implemented the solution for transferring Material master, Bill of Materials, Document Info Records, Change Masters and AMPL Records. Benefits: In Honeywell, multiple businesses use multiple SAP systems. Whereas they follow the same change release process in Teamcenter. To handle this scenario, we implemented the dynamic connection mapping where T4S will automatically identifies and connects with corresponding SAP systems based on the business of he process owner. The T4S transfers have a higher success rate of 99% as all the pre-requisites for transfer are validated in Change Management Process ahead of time. Custom SAP data views were implemented in Teamcenter. It helps users to check the Material Master data of a part which is transferred to SAP. Similarly custom user queries were provided to find whether Material Master record exists in SAP for specific part number or name. Thereby users doesn’t manually login into SAP to verify transferred data. It saved almost 50% of user’s time and effort. As part of migration, there was a requirement to transfer bulk data from Teamcenter to SAP. To handle this, T4S Scheduler was configured. It doesn’t require any user action. Scheduler will automatically finds the data which need to be transferred and performs SAP transfer in the background.
