Although Paolo Bergamo had a solid academic background and career, in his heart he knew he is a hands-on person naturally inclined to short-term engineering projects rather than long-term research ones. Driven by this view, in 2004, he started to work for the start-up Sendia in Silicon Valley, that was acquired by Salesforce two years later. In 2008 Paolo and his team are chosen by Steve Jobs to develop the first ever business application to launch the App Store. In 2016 Paolo is appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Field Service Management division in Salesforce with the Field Service Lightning product. Fast-forward to 2021 when he becomes the CEO and Chairman of OverIT, leading company in the FSM global market.
