What does Innovation look like in Lake Worth High School Audio Video Production/Commercial Photography Career and Technical Education classrooms? Innovation can be described as a new method, idea or product. I see Innovation in my CTE classroom as: The combination of old and new production techniques to generate Innovative learning opportunities. Innovation in the CTE classroom can also come from collaborative ideas generated from connected students learning industry rules and regulations with an eye to the future on how to break those rules for game changing outcomes. In my video production and commercial photography classes, I provide instruction that follows industry standards allowing students to become certified software professionals. Each student is encouraged to work toward certification with industry preparedness as the focus. LWHS AVPhoto students are provided user access to the entire Adobe Creative Cloud image manipulation suite of software titles. The Adobe certifications students are able to attain are recognized world-wide as the professional standard in image manipulation software. Why are you working to receive industry based certification? How can getting certified in Adobe software make a difference in your professional opportunities? Describe something innovative you have experienced in your classroom instruction? Describe the class you are currently taking and how you feel about what you are learning? What can the school district do to make the AVPhoto experience better?
