Charles was brought into the world at Buckingham Castle on 14 November 1948 at 21:14 (GMT). He was the principal offspring of Princess Elizabeth, Duchess of Edinburgh and Sovereign Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and the primary grandkid of Ruler George VI and Sovereign Elizabeth.
