Did you know, that while on a city of Brampton trade mission to Turkey, Gurpreet Dhillon, councillor of ward 9 & 10, faced serious allegations of sexual harassment? Brampton’s integrity commissioner determined Dhillon SEXUALLY HARASSED a woman, and recommended he be suspended without pay for 90 days, the harshest penalty the office can prescribe. Brampton council unanimously passed a motion asking Dhillon to resign however, he REFUSED. Media reported that about $60,000 in “TAXPAYER MONEY" went toward a settlement involving Dhillon, in a case brought against him and the city by a Brampton woman. In an audio recording, the victim can be heard saying “no” to Dillon 74 times over the course of 2 minutes and 57 seconds. Brampton deserves better. On October 24th, stand up for woman and say no to Gurpreet Dhillon.
