Let me share with you a short story. I remember a little girl way back in Oriental, North Carolina who had BIG DREAMS! She was a miracle baby because the doctors told her mother that she wouldn’t be able to have children. As early as 7 years old, she had a clear vision that someday she will be a successful entrepreneur. At her very young age, she sold snacks on the school bus because she saw a need. Kids were hungry when they were riding the school bus home in the evenings after a long day of school. Her mother was small in stature, a little under 5 feet tall she stood, but she had a powerful presence. She was also disabled, but she didn’t allow that to stop her in pursuing her Dreams. Life wasn’t easy for either of them. But her mother was always there to support her and was her partner in believing. During her school days and graduation from a top university, her name was always being misspelled or left off completely. She complained, she felt worthless but she realized that her name is nothing if it is not written in the book of life and that’s where she will get her recognition. In 2019, her mother died and it left her with just an emptiness in her heart. Her life was like a roller coaster ride. She felt that suddenly she became an orphan with no direction. Without knowing that those holes in her chest would change her perspective on life. After loosing her mom, she now lives everyday like its her last day, intentional and on purpose. She realized that life is too short and we need to live everyday to the fullest. So, yes! She lost her mother but she never lost her faith. It was also the time that she realized that this is her mission, to give a positive impact to the world. She is filled with inspiration, positivity, love and hope. This little girl is me! "CAROL YUNG"
