The life of Jake Brown I'm Jake Brown and my new school life sucks! The worst school ever. It's the first day of school. I woke up that morning. School starts at 8:30. At 8:55 I Looked at my clock and I jumped out of bed. I got dressed and fell down the stairs from running . Why are you still here? You should be in school. Mom asked. MOM I MISSED THE BUS BECAUSE I SLE PT IN. Jake yelled. After that I asked my mom if she could give me a ride to school. But I knew she was going to say you are going to have to walk because she also was late for work. “Sorry but I can't, I have to get to work. I am running late. You have to ride your bike”.My mom yelled back. My bike is for elementary kids and I'm now in high school. “ Fine, I'm not riding my bike, I'll just walk,”.I said. I grabbed my stuff and headed out the door.when i started walking to school I started to have a really bad headache I could see the school so I kept walking but it got worse I looked behind be and I saw my mom pulling out the driveway, her work was on the other side of town so if anything happened to me she would take her about 30 minutes and when she get here she would yell at me and I would be grounded for the rest of my life.I finally get to school I walked straight to class not look at the teachers on planning walking around. My headache was so bad.I knocked on the door to my classroom. My teacher opened the door. “Why are you late to my class young man or are you skipping. “Sorry ma'am I slept in and I had to walk to school and on the way I got a massive headache”. I knew he wouldn’t believe me. I mean the man talked to me like one of the movie teachers.but then the craziest thing happened I could hear what my teacher was thinking. “I will call his mom in my planning period and say that he was misbehaving in class” Mrs.Shorter was thinking. “Hey don't call my mom and say I was misbehaving in class when I wasn’t.” I yelled at her. “H-hey how did you know that, I didn’t say it out loud”. Mrs Shorter said hesitantly . “I don’t know but don't do it”I told her. And I was still in class so everyone, who I didn’t know was all staring at me, what a good first impression. “Go sit in the open seat by Sophia” Mrs Shorter told me.I walked over and sat down. I leaned over and asked sophia. “What are we Supposed to have out?” I whispered with a goofy face. “Just a pencil and paper”She looked over smiling then looking away.She looked cute but I bet there are a lot of people who probably think that, because some kids in my class were dozing off looking at her.After class I came up to her when she was at her locker I said. “Hi my name is Jake,'' I said with no confidence. “Well I'm Sophia as you already know from class. What do you have second period?“ Sophia said. “I have science in 604“.I told Sophia . “ We both have science together,“ She told me.Then after that we just went about our day. It's been about a month since the first day of school, nothing has been happening but i have been using my powers a lot and I'm very popular but I haven't missed the bus so that's good and now it's saturday and i'm going to hang out with my friends Jack,Bob, Aron ,Tom, and Billy bong bob bartholomew jr but we just call him pickles we were hanging out and I said. “Lets play a game I can read your mind I will give you 50$ if I can read your mind and if I can you give me 50$“I challenged “I'm down“everyone said together. “I'm going first,“ Tom said. “Spiders, he'll never think of that“Tom thought. “Tom, you're thinking of spiders,“ I said confidently. “How did you know“Tom was suspicious. “I just had an instinct that you were thinking of spiders”I said. “ I don’t want to play any more,”The rest said. “I have a secret but nobody can tell,” I whispered. “Ok”Jack, Aron, Tom, and pickles all said. “I can read people's minds. I have been using it to cheat off people's tests and to expose people,” I whispered to them. “I don't want to be your friend if you're doing that stuff,” Aron said. “Same, I'm leaving,”Jack said. “Let's go guys,” Aron said. “Guy’s come back, Pickles,”I hollered “Sorry Jake, I don't want to be friends with people who do that type of stuff.” Pickles said quietly. After that my friends didn’t talk to me ever again and they told everybody so now nobody likes me anymore because of what I used to do. It's been a week or two. I don't remember when I talked to them, but I'm going to apologize to them. “ Hey Guys I wanted to apologize for what I did a couple of weeks ago, and I shouldn’t have done those things,”.I told them. “We're all good, that's all we needed to hear, so from now on only use your powers for good,”.Tom said “ Ok I'll only use my powers for good now.”I told them.
