Welcome to the Tradeshow Leed App Tutorial. This tutorial will show you, how leeds are stored using a business card from a tradeshow visitor. After the tradeshow the generated leeds will appear in Salesforce for further follow-up. The web app can be used in any browser on any device, while it works best on smartphones and tablets. In order to use the leed app, you will need to check and enable some settings on your smartphone. Let’s dive right in. You can pause this tutorial at any time to perform the actions shown. At first open the Settings menu on your iPhone. Scroll to and open Siri & Search. Enable Siri with the second switch from the top. Confirm your choice. Now go back to the main settings menu and look for Keyboard. Open the Keyboard menu and enable Dictation with the switch. Confirm your choice. Also check Dictation language. Make sure English is also enabled, if it is not your native language. Close the settings Menu. Now everything is setup for the app to work properly. Click the link you have received via email and the web app will open in your standard browser. Remember each link resembles one specific event. If you attend multiple tradeshows, multiple links have to be provided to you. At first let’s create a shortcut to the web app on the home screen for convenient access throughout the tradeshow. Click the share button at the bottom of the browser. Scroll down and choose “Add to home screen”. Now click done. You have just created an app shortcut on your home screen. Click the newly created app icon and launch the leed app. Before uploading a leed, you need to choose a lead creator. If you are storing your own leads, choose yourself from the dropdown menu. Names of associates attending a tradeshow have been provided prior to arrival at the venue. Now you can choose between two options. You can either scan or upload a business card or you can enter leed information manually. Let’s choose Option 1. Now click on the “Choose File” button and click on the “Take Photo or Video” option. If prompted also grant access to the camera. You only need to grant access once. Now take a picture of the business card you received and click “Use Photo”. The uploaded image appears next to the button group. Now scroll down to meeting comments and add relevant information about your meeting and the customer. You will be able to easily add comment with the Dictate function of your iPhone. Click in the comments field – the keyboard will appear. Click on the microphone button in the bottom right corner and dictate your comment. They will be automatically transcribed to text in the comments field. Click done to minimize the keyboard. Now scroll down for additional information. Choose one or multiple product lines which are relevant to the tradeshow visitor and create follow-up tasks if needed.
