“Farming is profession of hope” says brett brian. Agriculture is the back bone of most of the developing countries including India. This is Thanusri here to present a work to enhance the quantity and safety and of the food crops. Plant protection in general and the protection of crops against plant diseases in particular, have an obvious role to play in meeting the growing demand for the food’s production. Plant diseases have been considered as the source root of agricultural loss. Crop diseases mainly caused by different kinds of organisms including, bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses. Among which more than 85% of the detrimental diseases are caused by fungi. Pests control using synthetic pesticides are extremely dangerous affecting environments, plants, animal and causes serious health issues to human beings. . By the repeated usage of the chemical fungicides, pathogenic fungi developing resistance to them and create multidrug resistance also, this becoming serious issue in recent years. It is an urgent necessity to generate an alternative source to combat pathogenic fungi. Cow dung is the waste products of the bovine species. In India more than 3 millon tones of cow dung is produced every day (according to economic times,2018). Cow dung is the undigested residue of waste mater of plant material that gets reacted with the gut of the animal. It is rich in indigestible cellulose, hemicelluloses, pentosans and lignin with 24 types of minerals including nitrogen, carbon, magnesium, cobalt, calcium, etc. It also contains several beneficial microorganisms like saccharomyces, lactobacillus, bacillus, etc Since ancient times, cow dung has been used for house cleaning and prayer rituals in India. Recently, it has been scientifically proven to have good antiseptic properties. Panchagavya is a term referred to describe five major substances, obtained from cow, which include cow's urine, milk, ghee, curd and dung. It is used as a biopesticide in crops to control diseases as it has potential medicinal properties against many diseases. Recently, cow dung-based mosquito repellents have been among the best alternatives for synthetic mosquito repellants. The use of cow dung ensures more environment-friendly and cost-effective . The use of cow dung in agriculture is essential to maintain soil quality. Fungal diseases are among the major problem in the agricultural field. Cow dung serves as the best replacement for these chemical pesticides. It also demonstrated anti-bacterial and anti-fungal effects. This is further manifested as it serves as a effective cure for psoriasis and eczema. It also further demonstrated that it can kill malarial parasite and mycobacterium tuberculosis. Nanoscience a novel discipline have vast deal of appliance in several fields and may also be useful in agrochemical and crop protection area to control disease to substantial extent. Until now, nanoparticles were used in formulation of nano based pesticides and insecticides, encapsulated nanoparticles, nanoparticle-mediated gene or DNA transfer in plants and bio sensors for remote sensing for precision farming. The nanopesticides of biological origin named as bio- nanopesticide could be fabricated using any metal with broad-spectrum pest control efficiency. These biosynthesizing nanopesticides, use non-toxic and biologically derived compounds and are therefore eco-friendly with better target specificity. The Zn is an essential nutrients for plants and is less available in soil this makes Zn metal as an important target for development of Zn nanoparticles for dealing with the pest and beneficial for plants. ZnO NP are of less cost and safe. They are applicable in pharmaceuticals and agro-chemical industries. Hence, the present study has focused on the synthesis and characterisation of zinc oxide nanoparticles using cow dung In addition, we investigated the anti fungal properties of cow dung synthesized zinc-oxide nanoparticles with the phyto-fungai
