Storytime. This is the story about how I got a black eye in preschool. For some context, I was 5 or 6 when this happened and I don't know how I still remember it to this day but I do. I was basically a living ball of sunshine as my parents called me. For privacy reasons, we will call the teacher at the school Mrs. L. So me being energetic and not sleep deprived of waking up at four in the morning to get dressed to catch a bus was trying to stay still and wait for my grandfather. I kicked my feet and looked out the window. As soon as my grandfather's car pulled into the parking lot I jumped out of the chair I was sitting on and bolted towards the window, little did I know there was an obstacle in my path. Mrs. L shouted for me to stop but I didn't hear her I was too busy going to hug my grandfather, and faster than you can sing supercalifragilisticexpialidocious my head hit the window like Boom, needless to say, I had to put a frozen steak on my face. My Grandfather scolded me for not waiting for him to come through the door but I was pinching myself so I could focus on the pain of that and not the pain from my eye. I was just too much for my family back then. As I said I don't know how I remember this story, but when I told my grandfather about it he said he didn't remember. So I see this as a strange occurrence. I think this was a funny story to tell and I hope this makes you laugh like I do when thinking about it. See you later.
