This is the Surah Maryam which relates that on receiving glad-tidings, Zakariyyah (pbuh) increased in glorifying Allah. Moreover, he advised his people to do the same. This indicates that when Allah answers our call, we need to continue praising Him and not forget Him, our sole Benefactor. The name of the Surah is Maryam which refers to Maryam bint Imran or 'Mary, daughter of Imran" and she is revered in Islam as the only woman named in the Quran, which refers to her seventy times and explicitly identifies her as the greatest woman to have ever lived. She is the mother of Jesus, the prophet and the servant of Allah.
