Welcome to the church of Pentecost audio devotional. It’s the Saturday, September 24, 2022 edition. Topic: Dealing With Pollution – Avoid Noise Making. Scripture References: Mark chapter 1 verse 5, Psalm 1 verse 1 to 3. Exposition: Noisemaking is one of the ways humanity is polluting the environment. Aside from the use of overaged vehicles and industrial machines which make noise so much, some churches, individuals, groups make use of loud public address systems to make noise. Apart from the medical implications on human beings and animals, it also has spiritual implications. The above text shows that Jesus always went into solitary places to have His quiet time and interact with His Heavenly Father. It is important for every Christian to sometimes move away from the madding crowd and have solitude. But since most forest have been destroyed, the only place Christians can have solitude is their homes. However, excessive noise from churches, vehicles, industrial machines make it impossible to have such quality time with God even in the home. The only solution is that we must desist from excessive noisemaking so that we can allow individuals to have quality time with their Maker. Prayer Guide: Lord, I repent from excessive noisemaking. Our Memory Verse For This Week: Romans chapter 8 verse 22: “We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.” Let’s go over it again: Romans chapter 8 verse 22: “We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.” Thank you for listening. Do have a blessed day!
