Greeting technologists!. Global Talent Visa enables technologists to live and work in the UK and also bring their families along to settle in the UK. If you are a recognised professional in the field of digital technology, you can apply for Tech Nation’s Global Talent Visa. No doubt, there are several benefits to applying for the Global Talent Visa, and we have discussed them in our previous video. You can find the link to the video in the description below. Keep watching the video for more information on the Global Talent Visa endorsement process. Global Talent Visa has two stages. In the first stage, the application is submitted for an endorsement with the relevant endorsing body, in your case Tech Nation. The second stage is applying to the Home Office for a visa to migrate. Global Talent Visa Endorsement Process. This video will discuss the Endorsement Process or Tech Nation Application Process. The application procedure for the Tech Nation visa is content-based, and preparing documents takes a lot of patience. You will not be asked to participate in an interview or conversation. As a Technical applicant, you must demonstrate proven technical expertise with the latest technologies in building, using, deploying or exploiting a technology stack and building technical infrastructure. And as a Business applicant, you must demonstrate a commercial, investment, or product ability in creating digital goods or managing investments in sizeable digital product enterprises. Tech Nation assesses your skills, abilities and achievements and advises the Home Office whether you can be endorsed. You can be endorsed as either:. • A Leader (previously Exceptional Talent) with more than 5 years of experience. • An Emerging Leader (Exceptional Promise), less than 5 years of experience. The waiting period before a person may apply for settlement or an ILR under the Global Talent Visa route is the primary distinction between endorsement as a "leader" or an "emerging leader." Leaders can apply for ILR after three years and Emerging Leaders after five. It is a Tech Nation’s discretion to assess each application on its own merits and recommend whether to endorse you as a Leader or Emerging Leader. This stage takes up to 8 weeks to be processed. If your application is considered under 'Fast Track', you may get an endorsement decision in 3 weeks. If you are successfully endorsed, you can proceed to apply for the visa (Stage 2). Within 3 months of receiving your endorsement from Tech Nation, you must apply to the Home Office for immigration. This stage usually takes up to 3 weeks if you're outside the UK and up to 8 weeks if you're inside the UK. Document Checklist. •A completed Tech Nation Visa application form. •A Personal Statement in line with Tech Nation guideline. •CV with career and publication history. •Three letters of recommendation from three different well-established organisations acknowledged as experts in the digital technology field. •Up to 10 pieces of supporting evidence under Mandatory and Optional Criteria. For, Mandatory criteria. Demonstrate a level of expertise (or emerging expertise) by providing supporting documents that place you at the forefront of your respective field in the digital technology sector. And for, Optional Criteria. Select 2 optional criteria from the list provided by Tech Nation and provide supporting documents concerning these two optional criteria. Unsuccessful Endorsement Applications: Review & Reapplication. •If your application for endorsement is unsuccessful, you have the right to submit an Endorsement Review requesting that the decision be reassessed. The review enables you to identify any mistakes in processing your application. Under Review, the new evidence cannot be presented, and you cannot alter your initial application. •If your review appeal has been unsuccessful, you can consider making a new Global Talent application for endorsement. If you make a new application, consider how you might improve your application based on the previous endorsement decision and the provided feedback. So, that’s it for today’s video.
