To enhance the student’s international business communication, Business English certificates (BEC) course has been conducted from 2017 batch onwards by the qualified BEC trainers and students' LSRW Skills are assessed and certified by Cambridge English language assessment,UK The students exchange programme between Nachimuthu Polytechnic College (NPTC), Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) and TVS Motor Company Limited commenced from the year 2018 to foster Knowledge and Academia sharing for the benefits of students on both the fronts. It is fully sponsored by TVS Motor Company , Hosur. The total number of 10 CEP students and the three NPTC Faculty members were sent to Nanyang Polytechnic,Singapore for the internship in the year 2018,2019 and 2020. Through this Collaborative Education Programme (CEP), 306 students from 2008 to 2019 batches were deployed in TVS motor company and its group concerns. From 2016, students are selected and sponsored for Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 5 students in 2016 batch,10 students in 2018 batch and 5 students in 2019 batch.These students availed the quality technical education and life skiils with sponsorship of the company with 100% employment guaranetee. The Collaborative Education Program of TVS Motor Company with Nachuimuthu Polytechnic College is the decade long journey.NPTC got the opportunity to work closely with engineers and leadership team of TVSM thereby improved the quality of education. NPTC welcomed the industry's feedback and tailor made the educaton program to the need of the industry.In a nutshell,it is a win win result for both the organisation.
