Island Quarry and Aggregates Corporation (IQAC) is a corporation engaged in the business of operating mines and or prospecting, exploration and of mining, milling, concentrating, converting, smelting, treating, refining, preparing for market, manufacturing, buying, selling, exchanging and otherwise producing and dealing in all kinds of ores, metals and minerals. IQAC operates the Calabar (Mining Patents 9, 11, 12 & 14) Quarries. IQAC is registered at the SEC since November 29, 1991. It is the primary supplier of raw materials of Solid Cement Corporation which is now undertaking expansion of its cement manufacturing operations. IQAC is one of the first mining companies who has been granted ISO Certifications by SGS last March 31, 2017: committed to providing Quality Products to its customers, ensuring the Health and Safety of its People, and minimizing the adverse impacts of its operations on the Environment, IQAC brought its best practices and have since then, subscribed to the requirements of the international standards on the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015), Occupational Health and Safety Management System (45001:2015) and Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015). IQAC is committed and embodied to these core values throughout its production and operations processes: 1. Maintain a pro-active attitude that promotes responsible mining. These include slope stability of quarries, noise and dust and siltation mitigation, and rehabilitation programs of affected areas, 2.
