You are the author of life, and indeed the finisher. Today, it is clear that many did not rise to be part of your creation, for they were snatched away by the enemy of life. Father, with gratitude, humility and hope in my heart, I submit myself to Your Holy will, asking that your mercy which is new, will carry me throughout this day. Grant that at the end of it all, I will be able to say Thank You to you for all you have done and poured into my life. Keep my family covered under the precious blood of Your blessed son Jesus. Grant deliverance to all children and elders within my family that they may be shielded from abuse, disrespect and harm. Lord you are a cloak of protection! Please extend this protective cloak over them all, over my, my colleagues, friends, neighbors and all people. Dear Heavenly master, lead me down the right path toward righteousness, and grant me the strength to obey Your lead; for Your lead is Holy.
