Our Bank initiated various risk mitigation measures to prevent cheque related frauds, in line with RBI guidelines. Bank has also adopted enhanced security features in all its Multi City Cheques to comply with CTS standards. Standard Operating Procedure (S O P) on preliminary scrutiny of Cheques has been reviewed and compiled on the basis of guidelines issued by the Bank from time to time. It contains the detailed procedure to be adopted by the operating functionaries in dealing with cheque related transaction.
