To The members of the laymen Convebtion India. I am E K George from USA. I endorse the Lay members convention in Hosur as it's time for change. Too much has gone on for too long especially for the poor workers that are left to fend for themselves. There has to be consistency in formulating policies for the church in India, a good benchmark should be looking at private or semi private institutions. Segregation of duties and conflict of interest policies should be implemented with honesty and integrity. Where ever taxes need to be paid to the government they should be paid in full. This is biblical principle. I am certain that all our laymen and women will stand united to bring about a radical change to complete the task that Jesus commissioned us all to complete. To all of you I would like to quote what Gandhi said - "When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it–always.” Mahatma Gandhi.
