Georgia has to be one of the most interesting countries in Europe. Just over the last decade, the country has gone from a relatively unknown backpacker spot to a pretty mainstream travel destination. The country’s especially famous for the beautiful landscapes, the great wines and the very unique culture. But without further ado, here are some of our favorite spots in the country you definitely should visit… Now, let’s start this video off with Tbilisi.. Tbilisi Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia and it’s built right into this beautiful valley alongside a river. The city has a long history behind it and its been influenced by a lot of different cultures over the centuries, which you can definitely see reflected in the very diverse architecture. One of the best things to do is to check out the Old Town. Just wander down the streets and take a look at the wooden buildings and the domed bathhouses, and make sure to try some of the local dishes and tasty Georgian wine as well. You can also take a cable car up the mountain to the Narikala Fortress. The ride takes about 15 minutes and once at the top, you’ll get to enjoy the spectacular views of the city.
