Assalamu Alaikum, sir. I am Ahmad Riaz. I am Bangladeshi and do my post-graduation MBA from Asa University Bangladesh. Now I am a filmmaker. Why am I a filmmaker and what is filmmaking? A filmmaker takes a script and turns it into an exciting story. To do this the filmmaker has to have the right kind of artistic talent and vision. A filmmaker is responsible for producing, directing, and developing a film. A filmmaker who possesses leadership as well as creative thinking skills to lead and direct feature films or made-for-television films. Every filmmaker needs 5 skills to be successful. A filmmaker is capable of playing an important role in the making of a film, whatever that role may be. 1. Technical skills - or at least, understanding a very difficult task about the latest filming technology and software. 2. Flexible Creativity - It is impossible to make a film without creativity, as a filmmaker from start to finish, you need creative talent to be able to work as a director, producer, post-production coordinator, or otherwise. 3. Written and told visual stories 4. Decisive and problem-solving leadership 5. Communication I have more than 8 years of filmmaking experience from various satellite televisions in Bangladesh. During this time I have done about 1000 TV shows as a producer on Bangladeshi TV channels like GTV and BTV. As well as producing, I was also an offline video editor on 200 shows. Besides, during Eid and Pujo, I edited 20 telefilms for Bangladesh Television Chittagong, where others were the producers. I am an expert in Adobe Premiere Pro CC editing software. Sometimes I’ve done it as a professional cinematographer. I think now is the time to explore myself in the meta world. It's time for me to leave the borders of my country and think about foreign cultures and philosophies. I am a great planner. I understand film technology. Filmmaking is my long-term path. I am creative, and a talented storyteller. I have the drive and stamina to make movies. I am a great communicator. I have authority and I can inspire people. I don’t miss even the smallest details.
