Good afternoon, everyone. I’m Joey Pang, the Public Relations Officer of Trail Trekkers. Thank you very much for coming today. Today, I’m going to talk to you about the incident of being trapped on Tai Mo Shan last Saturday. Firstly, I’ll give you some background information. Then I’ll explain the causes of the problem. Finally, you’ll learn about our actions and the long-term solutions to the problem. I’ll answer any questions that you may have after that. Let’s start with background information. Last Saturday, our event was interrupted due to unforeseen reasons. 30 passengers were trapped in Tai Mo Shan. Luckily, they were only slightly injured, but the affected were sick, and some felt hungry and cold. As families were upset about the incident, they complained about the organization and flooded social media. To understand the causes of the problem, we investigated once. We found that a sudden afternoon rainstorm, strong winds and hail had dropped the temperature by 2 degrees that night and made the roads very slippery. In addition, the participants wore only shorts and T-shirts and had no extra clothes, which, together with the stormy weather, made them disoriented. So much for the causes. To solve this problem, we're taken immediate actions, including the following. First, there's an urgent need to cancel the evening event to avoid accidents. Then, the company made a police report immediately after the participants were trapped. After that, it's essential to send 60 rescuers to rescue the participants because we need to reduce them from freezing and getting sick , and 15 ambulances to take the sick passengers to the hospital as soon as possible. We also sent a helicopter to save participants from seeing if anyone was left behind. The management is very concerned about the incident and has proposed two long-term solutions. First, we will review our emergency plan; it's crucial to set up a checkpoint on the mountain because we can provide Participants with proper equipment and clothing in the event of an emergency. In addition, It's strongly advised that we should distribute locators to participants so that when they have an accident, they can press the button so that we can immediately lock their location and send an ambulance crew, which will protect the safety of each participant. Well, this brings me to the end of my presentation. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me now. Or you may call me later. My extension number is 404. Thank you very much.
