Welcome to the training on Athena requests. This section talks about the type of Athena requests and when to raise a request. If you are looking for specific insights for your client, but haven’t found anything through one of the self-serve tools like Media Guide, Analyst Kit or Data Lab. In that case, you can raise a request on Athena which will be handled by one of the data analysts. It might take 3 to 5 days to work on data pull request depending on complexity of request. Here are few scenarios where you might want to raise a request. If you want video view trend around keywords, or top hashtags and hashtag trend for specific brands or top conversations, like overlapping hashtags, around a brand. Now i will talk about what we cover and what we don't cover. There are 2 types of requests you can raise. The first is "ad-hoc query" request which can be raised for insights around: Usage & Activity. Content Diversity or content Categories. Top Videos. Hashtags and, or Keywords. Sticker Usage. And Top Music content. Second type of request is "Platform Stats Request", which can be raised for cross-regional TikTok Platform Stats or 13-17 age group platform stats. For platforms stats for regions outside of APAC, you need to raise an athena request to your regional Data Analyst and communicate the specific use case. Please note that the APAC insights team does not support requests on the following: Matters related to Ads & Business Accounts. Such requests should be handled by P S O, or Measurement Partner. Brand Lift studies, conversion Lift, Reach and Frequency and Campaign Performance Analysis which are all handled by Measurement Partner. And lastly, Ad Product Performance which will be handled by the P S O team. More details on athena and insights can be found on the links provided in the material. Now, how to raise a request? You can submit a customized data pull using Athena, our internal ticketing platform. You can follow these steps : Step 1: Select your region. Step 2: Select the type of request, whether its' an "Ad-hoc Query" request or "Platform Stats Request". Step 3 : Provide details of specific use case , insights you need, client , markets and date range. After you raise the request, please wait for regional data analyst to come back in 3-5 days. When it comes to data, most important part is Data Sharing guidelines. Please take note of the following while sharing data with external users: Always provide data citation on your material when you share your data. Take note of data sharing restrictions , whether it is 1 to 1 closed door meeting with NDA clients, Non NDA clients or for Public Webinar. Since we don’t share our audience data publicly, the data provided is intended for closed door meetings for clients who have signed NDAs only. For materials that share our 1st party data, please do not send those slides as leave behinds (i.e. Audience MAU, time spent, demographics). Please avoid sending any physical collateral that could be forwarded to media, posted to LinkedIn, etc. You can email approved data in the body of an email as a follow up to your clients who have signed an NDA. If in doubt, check with your regional PR team before sharing data with clients!
