they take a CD from library which they play at home. paddington comes to know the name of explorer after playing the cd. now Marry gives many address directories to paddington so he can find out the british explorer. brown family goes leaving paddington aloine at home. the neigbor informs mellicent that paddington is alone at home. mellicent immidiately comes to capture him. she enters the house from roof tied with a rope. she calls at home landline so when paddington comes to phone she will intoxicate him with injection & take him away but paddington got himself tied up in tape he cannot reach the phone ringing. So, mellicent comes down from roof a little bit still tied with the robe but accidentally drops smoke granite . that scares paddigton & he sees mellicent . he gets very scred as she has put on mask to stay safe from smoke. paddington hides in kitchen but mistakenly sets cooking range at fire. mellicent gets evacuated from there by neighbor. when browns arrive, paddington tells about the strange flying elephant that attacked him but nobody believed him. Mr. Brown decides to send him to police station but upon hearing this, paddington sadly leaves the house & goes to find the British explorer. he sleeps at roadside. Next day, Marry read the letter out & let the family know that paddington has gone. now Marry & kids are angry with Mr.brown because they feel paddington left because of him. Aunt, try to make Mr.Brown understand that this bear is now part of the family you cant leave him alone. Paddington is trying to find the british explorer but he is not succeded . at last he found his address but un fortunately the explorer is no more but his daughter lives there, who is none other than mellicent. she act with kindess to paddington & promise to take him bavk to his house. but shuts him in a truck. there, the neighbor shows up & asks her to send him back to peru. but mellicent rudely warns him to stay awy from her matters. sHE plans to keep sample of this bear in her museum. this makes paddington scared & he tries to run but mellicent shoots him with intoxicating injection. paddington is senseless. Browns arrive at the museum, where mellicent ios rewady for the bear's operation to stuff it as a sample in museum. Browns go through the sewers as the main enytrance was locked . Now they get inside and switch off the main power button. it stops mellicent from operating on paddington. now they find paddington but door is locked So. Mr. Brown jumps through window. Paddington is awaken by MR.BROWN's voice. There, in hallway, mellicent sees footprints & understands someone has come to save the bear. paddington runs away and mellicent follows him but paddington climbs up the chimney with the help of vaccum cleaner. Judy hear his voice coming through chimney & Browns go to the roof. Mellicent fires up chimney that makes it hard for paddingto climb but Browns family come at time to save him. Mellicent comes to the roof and asks the Brown to hand her over paddington. but Mr.Brown refused . paddington gets very happy but decideds to go to mellicent. He asks mellicent teat marmalade sandwich one last time . she agrees, paddington take out sandwich from hat and throw it on mellicent. All pigeons sitting there fly towards mellicent to grab piece of sandwich , making mellicent loose her balance but she manages to be safe . At this, Aunt World's hit off mellicent with a wooden rack& she is fallen off. Now, mellicent is jailed by the court & as a punishement serve to cleanhis Dad's museum for free. Paddington has started to live with the Brown family as a family member & they are living very happily by the end of the film.
