The December evening coldness bit at my bare hands, face and legs as the lit sky darkened. Rain fell slightly on tall roofed houses. I'd prefer Autumn or Summer in London, Winter was always a mess. It was Christmas and Children were still busy hanging there decoration to houses or memorizing how many days till Santa's presents were delivered. I never had that opportunity as a child, so I dare not ruin it for others. It was hard, hard for me to see others happy. I was used to seeing teary faces in the mirror as a child. Wild screams of terror and horror. It still echoed in the back of my head. Christmas was ruined for everybody that knew of what was happening. The reign of the Rossi's over London and Italy. You couldn't run away from either Country or City. I was hating my life. Where I lived, what my name was. Everything about me. Especially my name. Ambrosia.
