Affirmation of Independence When in the course of current events it becomes necessary for the people of this Nation to dissolve the political bands which have connected the Fifty States and their citizens for more than two hundred years, a decent respect to the opinions of all involved suggests that they should declare the injuries and abuses which impel them to call for a separation. We still hold these truths to be self evident, that all human beings are created equal that they inherit by their mere existence certain inalienable rights, that among these are the right to live and breathe, the right to participate in social, economic, and political activities without imposition and regulation by the Government, and the right to work and keep the means of their labor without others demanding a portion through violence. To secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among the people, wielding their authority from the Consent of the Governed,. Whenever any Form of Government, even a Representative Republic that democratically elected its leaders becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, reorganizing and structuring the institutions and so as to reflect the will of the people and states. We cannot alter the government because we disagree with some of our brethren on a few issues, we can, and should however, alter it if the focus of governance has been subjugation rather than Liberty. We have seen that many would rather live under totalitarian rule than give up conveniences and privileges. But when a long Train of Abuses and Violations of basic rights have occurred, intentionally designed to keep the people under absolute despotism, it is our right, it is our duty to dismiss such a government and reimagine a way to provide new guards for future security and prosperity. This has been the case of the 50 Nation States that make-up the United States of America, and these are the reasons why they are forced to alter their system of government. We have an understanding to allow free movement between the states so as to ensure all citizens within this nations borders have the ability to live and be governed by those he/she agrees with, or can accept. This understanding allows individual states and the people to pursue the policies and rules that they deem most appropriate for them and their families or communities. The only reason a state such as California and one such as Alabama cannot coexist in this union is an over reaching federal government that requires them to change their rules and regulations every four to eight years depending on who is the head of the executive branch. Congressional deadlock is a shield to the states, ensuring that overruling federal mandates do not infringe on the rights of each region to govern themselves according to their customs and beliefs. This government has found a way around the checks and balances imposed by the constitution through the administrative state, with threats of increasing taxes, decreasing funds, and litigation in the courts. This country was never designed to tax the people and bribe them with their own money. Instead of the people and the states investing their resources according to their needs and wants, the United States Federal government requires, through threat of violence, that they pay an ever increasing amount to be redistributed based on the whims of the political party in charge of legislating at that time. Basic understanding of the good, righteous, and charitable nature of the American people would lead one to believe that each community, each county, and each state has a better understanding of the needs of their own people and the authority to tax and spend based on their consent. Unfortunately the Federal Government has usurped that authority and claims to be sole arbiter of every decision within the borders of each sovereign state Adding to the issue of of taking our money and redistributing it based on political means, the spending and keeping of the funds is unacceptable. To be prosperous a person is required to work and gather resources to acquire wealth. The Federal Government does neither but the wealth that it acquires grows yearly. Even in times of panic, instead of rescinding the income tax or abolishing it altogether, the government continues the theft and returns a portion to the people pretending that it was out of generosity and help. Our elected officials have done nothing to lessen the burden of an overreaching government, to ease the fears of the many citizens within these borders who may, regardless of political association, believe that their rights are being taken, abused, and discarded. The system in which we are currently a part, pits person against person, class against class, religion against religion, state against state. The solution to the problems in America today were solved with the affirmation of rights laid out in the Constitution. Each person, class, and state, continues to have the right to pursue their happiness in whichever form they choose. Representative government by democratically electing leaders within state boundaries does not and should not have an impact on the rule of law agreed upon by the 50 states written in 1776. If the majority of the people in one state wish to live in a socialist redistributive society within their borders, they may do that. If another would like to model their government after a Christian theocracy, they may do that. And the rest of the 48 may pursue whatever form they deem necessary for their future security and prosperity. The only requirement is that they all agree to be a member of this Union and band together for the defense of the grand experiment if attacked by a foreign enemy. This Government has abandoned the American people. We strike trade deals with foreign nations and give tax breaks to large employers who then move out of our territories and jurisdictions to engage in slave labor, taking with them the jobs and means of subsistence the American people depend on. Instead of allowing the states and the people respectively to keep their means, this Government has taxed everything from air, to water, and all manner of goods and services. Instead of paying down debts or decreasing the tax burden of its citizens, they have funded wars across the globe, killing people indiscriminately in the name of Liberty and Democracy, besmirching the good name of the American People. While our children and our needy go without, enormous sums of money are sent to foreign nations who openly chastise, mock, and call for the destruction of the people of this Nation. Under the guise of protection and safety, our money is taken from us forcefully and spent on funding private government organizations who entrap, spy, and harass their fellow citizens. The state does not tell us how to live, we tell them how to govern. This fundamental American Idea has been lost and if it does not return quickly and abruptly, there is no other choice than to break the bonds of the union and allow each state to govern themselves independent of an all powerful central authority.
