So we can either apply a thin, medium, or thick hair application to our client depending on the density of her natural hair. The first two rows of every application should be installed as if it were a thick haired client. What that means is the rows are going to be placed closer together to build the weight at the bottom of the hair before we start spreading the rows out. In this case, we will be doing a medium application. What that means, is we will install a row and then skip a row. For thick hair applications, you should not skip any rows. For thin hair applications you typically skip two rows. Each row is about ¼ inch sections.
