Before continuing to the second Weft it is important to make sure that there are no outside hairs stuck to the tape. This will cause discomfort for the client. Next, remove the white tab from the second weft and press this weft on top of the currently installed one. Sandwiching it together. Follow it by taking your fingers and squeezing the wefts together, getting rid of any air pockets so you have a secure hold. It’s important to use just the right amount of hair inside the tapes for a secure hold. Too much hair will not allow the tapes to seal and can eventually slip, too little hair will cause discomfort for your client. The amount of hair again, is based on the density of your clients natural hair. If she has thin hair you’ll want to grab a little bit more than normal, if she has thick hair you will need less. A good rule of thumb is about 1/4 inch of hair.
