GURLZ iN THE GLOBE MAGAZINE Gurlz In The Globe is a non-profit magazine run by the congentBI Foundation, that is dedicated to empowering disadvantaged and marginalised women through data science education. Gurlz In The Globe magazine features a range of articles on a range of topics related to female participation in STEM. What does STEM stand for? S cience T echnology E ngineering M athematics STEM industries share an emphasis on innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking. And together they make up a popular and fastgrowing industry including the video games industry, computer science, psychology, tech industries And this gap is even more apparent.... with disadvantaged women in STEM Disadvantaged women include women who are marginalised in some form or another. Including financial difficulties, economic difficulties, financial and mental disabilities. It also includes women who are marginalised by race, gender identity, sexual orientation, and other intersectional identities. The congentBI Foundation supports and encourages of female participation in STEM. One way congentBI Foundation does this is through informing and engaging audiences through Gurlz in The Globe magazine. Hence GiG magazine aims to encourage women, girls, females, and non-binary people to participate in STEM in a range of subjects. For the scientists, computer scientists, technology enthusiasts, artificial intelligence, mathematicians, engineers, music producers, and psychologists of the modern-day.
