I was born, on 15th April 1452, in Vinci near the city of Florence, in Italy. When I was 14, I became an apprendice of the artist Andrea del Verrocchio. I am famous for having been one of the most creative people who ever lived. I am lived during the ranaissance, a period when the art and sciences florished in europe. I had many careers during my life. I was a painter, an architect, an engineer and a scientist. But I was also a dreamer who dreamed of the future. Some of the things I dreamed about only happened many years after my death. In my notebooks, I wrote about my work and my life. I studied Art, Anatomy, Architecture, Geometry, Geology, Mathematics, Pathology, and I designed weapons and several military vehicles . I wanted to invent a flyng machine. So I made sketches of flying machines that had moving wings. The were only sketches. But one day, I told my self, people will be to fly. In 1483 I painted “The Virgin of the Rocks”. In 1485 I painted “The Lady with Ermine”. In 1487 I drew the “Vitruvian Man”. In 1490 I sketched a kind of computer. In 1498 I painted “The Last Supper”. In 1503, I started painting the Mona Lisa, My most famous portrait. In 1510, I cut up dead bodies and made detailed anatomical drawings. I steyed in France until my death on 2nd May 1519
