Moving one step towards Data Analytics implementation in audit! We created a Risk Assessment tool using Power B.I with interactive dashboards, presenting current and historic risk assessment results, aiming to facilitate the Risk Assessment process and uncover useful insights. How to connect. 1. Use the link you received in the email with the instructions. It may require sign in with your windows credentials and request for your location and phone number, then the Power B.I web application will open. 2. Alternatively you may access the Power B.I application through Share point. (Open the Share Point, go to menu, find and open the Power B.I app) 3. Finally you can also access Power B.I through teams by clicking on the three dots at the left side of the screen, find and open the Power B.I app. (click on “add” if the app is not already installed at your Microsoft teams). Once connected, click on the “apps” button on the left pane and open the “Internal Audit Risk Assessment” application. As you can see at the left side of your screen there is a list with the pages. Click on the page you want to see. Each page includes a dashboard with a combination of graphs and tables. If you need a closer view in a graph. You can use the “Focus mode". Use the slicers and the interactions to gain more insights. However, at the right side of the screen there are preselected filters by our team, for having meaningful results, it is not advised to edit them. By clicking on a specific area of a graph all relevant information inside the page is adjusted. Click again on the same area to return in the previous view. In many pages there are slicers, drop-down lists or combo boxes that filter the page. Usually, the slicers applies to the whole page unless otherwise indicated. You can use more than one slicers at the same time. Uncheck the selected value or select the button “Clear Selections” to remove the filters. Some of the graphs may offer additional information when you "hover" the on-screen mouse pointer above a specific element. Now, lets explain some of our graphs that you may not be familiar with: The “Line Presentation” provides detailed information per Audit Universe line. This page works only on an Audit Universe line basis. Select the Audit Universe line and you can easily see the name of the line in the previous years the risk figures, the scale and the results per sub risk level. At the end of the page, you see the detailed risk assessment documentation for your convenience. Note that, as the detailed Risk Assessment documentation is due at a later stage in the project, data depicted in the chart , especially the risk and controls descriptions , might not have been updated since Risk Assessment 2022 or is work in progress. In some of the pages, we have used “Sankey Diagrams” to show changes in scoring year on year. Improvements are indicated with green lines, deteriorations with red lines and the areas with no transition with grey lines. When you click on a line you notice that the table below is adjusted to indicate the selected Audit Universe lines. Moreover, when you “hover” the mouse pointer over the line you see the number of the Audit Universe lines with changes and on the right side you see the number of Audit Universe lines in the destination risk band. Please ignore the information that appear on the left side, in the source risk band. If you need to export the visuals, click on export to pdf. The option “default values” will extract the report at its original format while the option “Current values” will take into account the applied filters. Moreover, you can select whether you want to extract the specific page or the whole report. If you only need a specific graph or a table of a page, click on the “Copy Visual” and then paste it in a word or email. Finally, in each page you can leave a comment or mention a colleague to grab their attention, in this case they will receive an email with a link that leads back to the dashboard. If you have a corporate device that is connected to Eurobank’s domain, you may download power B.I application, log in with your credentials and see the dashboards in a mobile friendly layout. If you have issues with connecting or other enquiries please contact the data analytics team. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION!
