Hello everyone, welcome to my channel at The Traveller. European countries are full of vibrant cities known for their museums, restaurants, nightlife and architecture. It comes as no surprise that deciding which spots are the unique places to visit in Europe can be difficult. So, in today’s video, we will be looking at the top 10 Unique places to visit in Europe 2022. Number 1, LONDON.. Exploring the world class British Museum, seeing a musical in the west end theater district, touring the Tower of London and going on a Sunday roast at a local pub are all part of the London bucket list experience. London, also has a lot of interesting places to visit such as the London Eye. The London Eye, or the Millennium wheel, is a Cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3 million visitors annually. And also the London transport museum. The London Transport Museum is a museum built to mark the history of London’s transport and stories of the people who have travelled and worked in the city over the last 200years, as well as a peak into the future of travel in the capital with a visit to London Transport Museum. The Sea Life London is also an interesting tourist site located on the ground floor of the country hall on the South Bank of River Thames in the central London, near the London Eye. It opened in March 1997 as the London Aquarium and host about 1 million tourists each year. Number 2, Paris.. Paris is filled with highly regarded museums, monuments and churches. You could easily spend your entire vacation admiring iconic sights like the Eiffel Tower which is a wrought-iron tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris. Wondering through the exhibit at the Louvre, which has one of the richest collections in the world such as artwork and artifacts representative of 11,000years of human civilization and culture and strolling through the beautiful green space admiring flowers at the Luxembourg Garden. The aroma of fresh Italian cooking is one of the unique things that makes Rome the best location. Rome has a lot of interesting places such the Colosseum which is an oval amphitheater in the center of the city of Rome. The Roman Forum, which is also a rectangular forum surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings near the colosseum. In addition, you can also visit the saint Peter’s Basilica on your visit to Rome. The saint peter’s basilica is described as holding a unique position in the Christian world and as the greatest of all churches of Christendom. Rome is the best place to know much about Christianity, the Apostles and to have historical experience. Number 4, BARCELONA.. Barcelona, Spain’s diverse architecture sets the city apart from other European destinations. Antoni Gaudi’s Park Guell which is an enormous garden with stunning and distinct architecture elements designed by the renowned Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudi. And also, Basilica de la Sagrada Familia which is a famous and large unfinished minor basilica in the Eixample district of Barcelona, and is the largest unfinished Roman Catholic Church which is beyond impressive. Barcelona also houses interesting sites such as the Palau de la Musica Catalana and many medieval buildings in the Gothic Quarter. If you are also looking for a place to relax in Barcelona, then the Barceloneta Beach is the best option for you. The beach is one the famous place many tourists visit and to relax. NUMBER 5, SWISS ALPS.. Swiss Alps are located at South of Zurich, Bern and Basel, the Swiss Alps are a haven for winter sports enthusiasts. While skiing, hiking and snowboarding tends to dominate this region, you’ll also discover quaint towns, serene lakes and gorgeous scenery. Luxury mountain resorts are available throughout the region as well, making it a playground for all sorts of travelers. In addition, no trip to the Swiss Alps would be complete without indulging in some warm, gooey cheese fondue in the region. NUMBER 6, PRAGUE.. Prague is one of the best places in Europe to spent all your vacations. As a tourist in Prague, you will be willing to feel the Gothic architecture and vibrant atmosphere of Old Town Square, and would be sure to tour Prague Castle and go for a troll across the famously scenic Charles Bridge. Prague affordable food and drinks, accommodation and public transportation make it a great place for travelers who wish to visit Europe on a budget. NUMBER 7, ATHENS.. Athens is also one the greatest cities to have existed in histories. Athens was made for history buffs and architecture aficionados. However, there’s more to Athens than it’s historical sites. The Greek capital’s laid-back lifestyle and incredible foot attracts masses just as much as its famous attractions do. As a tourist in Athens, you would like to tour around the historic neighborhood of Plaka, where you will find restaurants, cafés, whitewashed homes and charming shops. NUMBER 8, VIENNA.. This storied Austrian city is best known for its music and monarchs. Exploring the Habsburg family’s Schonbrunn Palace and its on-site Tiergarten, which is home to the oldest zoo in the world. Art lovers always visit the Museum Quartier Wien to peruse the exhibits at the Museum of Modern Art, while music fans also visit the house of music and tour or watch a performance at the Vienna State Opera. NUMBER 9, STOCKHOLM.. Sweden’s often cold capital is best visited by foreigners during the summer months when the daytime temperature typically hovers in the 60s and 70s. this sublime weather makes outdoor activities like strolling through the parks at Djurgarden. Tourists also visit Stockholm’s charming cobblestone-lined Old Town feature and a number of attractions, such as the Royal Palace and the Nobel Prize Museum which aim at spreading knowledge and creating interest and discussion around the natural science and culture through creative and learning. NUMBER 10, BERLIN.. More than three decades since the fall of the Berlin wall, Germany’s capital city boasts everything from museums and monuments to thriving dining and nightclub scenes. History lovers mostly checkout the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, the topography of terror, Brandenburg gate and the checkpoint Charlie Museum, while tourist who love arts also visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Museums.
