So it starts and there’s a girl and her brother and her mom driving in a car to a summer beach house that’s owned by the moms best friend and every summer they go to this house and it’s the mom belly (the main character) and Steven (belly’s brother) and Susannah( the moms Bestfriend) Conrad (hot man Susannah’s son) and Jeremiah (Conrad’s brother the other love interest) and belly went from like a geek with glasses and stuff to a girl with boobs and contacts and she’s had a crush on Conrad since she was 8 but Conrad didn’t see her like that and Jeremiah is belly’s Bestfriend so they go to this house and Conrad’s like a different person and he acts different and stuff like that and he started drinking and smoking weed and belly like tells him he’s not the same and whatever so they go to a beach party and belly sees her middle school Latin camp friend and he like asks her out again then they like kiss then she gets mad bc Conrad and Jeremiah wouldn’t let this random kid named cam drive her home (which Yk probably for the better bc riding home with someone u don’t know is how you end up on a serial killer docu-series) and then her and Conrad have a little moment then bc at the party he’s making out with a girl and belly tells him he’s a dick bc she thought like he wanted her but he was rly dating Nicole (the girl he was kissing) then Susannah convinced belly to be a debutant so she goes dress shopping stevens girlfriend shayla and Nicole are also doing the debutant thing then cam and belly go on a date and Conrad thinks it would be funny if him Steven and Jeremiah crash her date she gets pissed and when she goes home she essentially tells Conrad that he loves her and wants her then belly turns 16 and everyone buys her a present except Conrad and he says he forgot except he didn’t bc at the end of the episode belly finds the necklace he bought for her and she puts it back then belly’s Bestfriend from back home come to the beach house and Taylor (the Bestfriend) likes Jeremiah and Conrad and Steven but she ends up hooking up with Steven even tho stevens dating shayla then it’s forth of July and belly and Stevens dad comes and so does Conrad and Jeremiah but Conrad hates his dad bc he knows the truth ab how the dad cheated on the mom when the mom was going through chemo the first time and Jeremiah is up his ass all the time and belly gets drunk and tells shayla that Steven cheated on her and then everyone leaves bc belly kinda ruined the mood she follows Conrad to the outdoor shower and like says that he’s hot with wet hair then they go watch fireworks by the ocean together after she takes a nap and they almost kiss but then Jeremiah is a douche and almost explodes them with a fire work bc he was jealous then belly goes to dance practice for the debutant ball and conrad shows up but like he only showed up for belly but Nicole the girl he was kissing was also there and she thought he came for her but he messaged belly and said she you when you come home so belly breaks up with cam and tells Conrad but Conrad’s like you can and she gets all hurt and then her and Jeremiah kiss in the pool and belly tells Conrad she’s not gonna wait for him anymore Conrad asks belly to be her date to the ball bc his mom told him too but he also wanted to but she’s kinda reluctant and says she’ll think ab it and Conrad makes up a story and tells Nicole like his mom forced him to and he was made to by his mom then Taylor comes back into town for the volleyball tournament and Taylor fakes and injury bc she wants Jeremiah and belly to date but Jeremiah is kinda shit at volleyball so Conrad plays volleyball with her instead and they win then she finds out Susannah made Conrad ask her out so she rejects him and asks Jeremiah instead and she confronts Conrad ab the necklace then she goes to Nicole’s boat party and the girls end up skinny dipping belly’s phone starts going off and it was Conrad and someone thought it was Nicole’s phone and Conrad was telling belly that he really did want to go to the dance with her but Nicole sees it and takes belly’s clothes and gives them to Conrad so Conrad and Jeremiah go pick up Taylor and belly Jeremiah and belly end up making out then it’s the day of the debutant ball and belly leaves to get around her and Nicole make up and everything ok then Steven gets mad bc he saw Jeremiah and belly kissing and then belly and Jeremiah walk down but like her and Conrad stare at each other the entire time but then Jeremiah over hears something about Susannah and he takes Susannah’s phone and finds out Susannah had cancer so when it’s time for the big choreographed dance Conrad had to take his place and dance with belly bc he went with Nicole the year before Jeremiah goes to tell Conrad but Conrad already knew so that’s why he’d been acting out and then belly finds out and is like broken bc Susannah was like her other mom so then in the morning Conrad and belly walk to the beach and they both are like depressed and then he says that he thinks ab her more than he should and that he needed her and she says I want you to want me not need me and he says I do want you and then they kiss and it ends like that
