Hello everyone, My name is Vijay and I have my team members, Ishaan, Aditi, and Nikhil also along with me. We also like to thank our coach Daniel O'Brien, who helped us throughout this innovation journey and helped make our idea more objective and insightful. This season is special to us, as this is the first time this challenge is open to the India team as well, and we are very excited and looking forward to your guidance and vision. Before showcasing the prototype, we would like to talk briefly about our idea and its advantages. Our idea is to build a comprehensive tool called Business and operations analysis tool, BOAT. That can help the entire transaction life cycle starting from data to report. This will not only help the Consulting business but other service lines as well. The tool will have 3 verticals in it, all there are mutually exclusive and can be used as stand-alone. The first vertical is the Data ingestion, through this users can create an RSM branded tab in the workbook from the raw data sets. In this example, this is the monthly trial balance. Here user needs to include pre-defined mapping 1 and mapping 2, now click submit button to translate this raw data to the pre-defined RSM branded table. This is the sample output user can get through this tool. The next vertical is “Analysis and insights”, through this users can generate some insightful analysis and can provide more value-added output to the clients. On the landing page, the user needs to input some variables. First, select which table you want in the workbook, for example, here we are selecting the profit and loss account. Next, the user needs to select which industry the data is related to, we would have TMT, Healthcare, Industrials, BPS and Financial services inbuilt here, lets select healthcare here. Lastly, input which percentage of variation you would like to present in the data from a trending perspective. Let’s define +/- 5% here.Now click on submit button. This is the updated table, it has initial commentary based on the trend analysis, it has industry-specific KPIs at the bottom including their calculations. The third vertical of this tool is “Report and Visualization”, in this user can create a quick report slide of this tab including the pre-populated commentary as well. The user needs to click on the “generate report”, this is the output slide of the same Profit and loss table which we have created from the scratch. This tool would be really helpful in doing quick and efficient analysis, and can be further enhanced to incorporate more industry’s operational metrics as well. This would be helpful for both internal team members and external clients of RSM. By this we can have more objective discussions with clients, increase our revenue, and wider solutions can be offered based on client improvement areas. This was a quick demo of our potential platform. As per our understanding and experiences, we can certainly see a lot of benefits of this platform, like : • Increase RSM wallet and depth of services and, • It will help in providing more objective and value-added solutions to the client.
