The Pin Me 2 project. A demand for this project was issued by Marketing back in February. Pin Me 2 allows us to extend our reach to multiple platforms in an automated way, minimizing the need for manual input. Pin me 2 enables us to provide accurate and precise information across all platforms simultaneously. This mitigates the risk of losing customer due to misinformation. After some research, the Service owner assigned, identified that there was several areas of improvement in the current structure and process. The service owner proposed a new structural approach that incorporated the use of business portals shifting the activity of updating special hours to the restaurants thru the business portal. It also incorporates the use of Metadata to automate the process flow in a more efficient way. The design also promote us to start using our own Food Folk API, hence less dependable of Global and thus more in control of our IT environment. Project Status: Brief update on the pin me 2 project by Daniel Devington As you are aware we received an approval by the IT Council to proceed with the pin me 2 project late may. The project is now managed and coordinated by Alex Saradjzadeh from PMO. We are now scheduling several workshops between different subject matter experts within the field of Meta Data, Integration and Business portals, to be able to identify the correct path forward in realizing all expected features in the solution. The first workshop started yesterday, the objective of these workshops are to gather all possible inputs from the subject matter experts and start crafting a structural approach. In this, the project needs to define the costs associated with the implementations and the overall cost for Food Folks. Ones we have the structural design, technical aspects and costs understood within the project, Alex will present the T G 2 summary to the steering committee.
