This is a corn snake. A fine example of the snake family, they can come in many different colours and patterns, including orange and brownish yellow. It is classed as a reptile, it’s diet being mice and other small animals. They can weigh up to 1kg and their only actual danger is the destruction of habitats and accidental killing. The corn snake is a constrictor snake, as opposed to venomous snakes, that squeezes it’s prey to ‘constrict’ it’s breathing.
