Hello everyone, My name is Nikhil and I have my team members, Vijay, Naveen and Luis Galarza, who is our coach. We are really excited to present our Innovation idea before the panel and thrilled to be part of this fantastic Innovation journey of RSM innovation. This season is special to us, as this is the first time this challenge is open to the India team as well, and we are really looking forward to your guidance and vision. Before showcasing the prototype, we would like to talk briefly about our idea and its advantages. Our idea is to have a ribbon which can be used in automating several time consuming task which currently needs manual efforts. Our tool called T A S tool, will have multiple options under it. One can click on any of such option and can get the desired output. This innovation idea can by used by the professionals for the upcoming assignments. This tool will surely help Consulting but can also be utilized by other service lines like Audit, Tax as more and more options can be added under this ribbon depending on the service line. This is a quick demo of our proposed idea to be built for RSM Edge. On the landing page of the ribbon, the user needs to select an option which needs to be performed on the data. We have shortlisted various options. First RSM formatting, Second Conversion to Direct Linking, Third Multigrouping sorting, Fourth Top Vendor-Customer sorting, Fifth Check summary tab. Lets start with RSM formatting option. Purpose of this macro is to convert or format any tab into a standard RSM font and color pallet. First step is to select the dataset which needs to be formatted. Then click on View. Then under view click on Macro. Under Macros choose View Macros. Then press Run. This macro will convert an unformatted tab into a fully formatted tab. There are few things which needs to be consider before running this macro. 1. Database should start from cell A1 assuming first row would be header. 2.There should not be any blank in the database. If there is, fill it with some text and replace it after running the macro.
