The job submission tab is what you will use if you’re document is completed, if it is the end of your shift, or if the job has no audio. First, lets go through as though this was a completed job. If the customer dictated a custom filename in the job you would enter it here. If they did not, you can just leave it blank. If they requested that the job be emailed to an additional party, that email would be entered here. However, only do this if the client explicitly states that they want SpeakWrite to send a copy of this job to another person. We don’t want to accidentally send out a draft to another party if the client doesn’t request it. If you have comments to your proofreader, you can enter that here. For example, you may let your proofreader know that this customer spells his name Cristian. Once you have everything all set. Click submit. If this job is complete, and ready to go back to the customer, click submit. If this job is not complete and you’re unable to finish it because you’re shift is over and you’re unable to stay on, just click partial. When you click partial, you will see additional information that you must complete. Enter the time mark of where you left off so that the next typist can begin there. Then click submit. If this job had no audio and no PDF associated with it, you will select the no audio button. And if this job was inaudible, you would select reject job. Please note- you must open a help ticket before rejecting a job so that the help desk can verify that the audio is in fact poor quality and it is not an equipment issue. After you choose reject, just select the best reason for rejecting the job and click submit. We hope you enjoyed this tour of our Type easy software.
