In this presentation, we will take a quick peek inside the (MnE) Media and Entertainment industry and a brief overview of the History of Film and Television. I’ve had the pleasure of working in Media and Entertainment for over thirty years and it has been amazing to journey to witness the evolution of analog film, analog tape, digital tape, and now file-based workflows. Whether it was animation or live-action produced for theatrical or episodic delivery I’ve pushed close to ten thousand productions through the same exact standard production pipeline that you’ll see here today. Here are six phases in production that are continually used to produce a feature and/or television program.
