Hello everyone, My name is Nikhil and I have my team members, Vijay, Ishaan, Aditi and Richard Kes, who is our coach. We are really excited to present our Innovation idea before the panel and , thrilled to be part of this fantastic Innovation journey of RSM innovation. This season is special to us, as this is the first time this challenge is open to the India team as well, and we are really looking forward to your guidance and vision. Before showcasing the prototype, we would like to talk briefly about our idea and its advantages. Our idea is to have a platform through which , we can support our client on the most critical thing in any business, which is EDGE. Our platform called RSM EDGE, this innovation idea is to prepare standard storyboarding templates & full scoped reference reports by Sector, office, region, and type of transaction which can be used by the professionals for the upcoming engagements. Through this solution, we would also help in building sector-specific knowledge (repository would have sector-specific analysis across regions/offices), with professionals going beyond the workbook and contributing significantly to report writing. While using this repository, a professional can pro-actively create skeleton of the report, can do value additions which will give more room to US team working on the deal. Further, anyone in RSM can use this repository to get the basic or foremost analysis required in any industry. This tool will surely help Consulting but can also be utilised by other service lines like Audit, Tax. Sample reports can be utilised for refering analysis or even for business development. This is a quick demo of our proposed platform to be built for RSM Edge. This tool would have the functionality to pull the data from RSM database. This database will have an internal source like sanitized reports of past assignment, that would only be incorporated after taking QRM approval. On the landing page of the platform, the user needs to select a few information based on the project requirement. The first , would be to select which Geography . Let’s select US here. Second, the user would need to select the region. Let’s select Central here. Third step is to choose the type of transaction. Let’s choose option of Buy side. Next step is to choose type of industry. Currently, we would like to cover Financial Services, TMT, CPR, Healthcare, Business and Professional Services and Industrial in the first phase. Let’s select Professional Services here. In the next step, the user needs to select the sub-industry classification considering different business dynamics. Like for Professional Services, we have Consulting Firms, Architecture and Engineering, Government Contracting, Workforce Solutions, Marketing and Advertising etc. Let’s select Architecture and Engineering here in this example. Fifth criteria would be to select for what type of report is needed Shell or Detailed. Lets select Detailed. Then we need to choose which section of the report we want to have. Lets select BS. Now, after selecting all the required criteria, the user needs to click on submit button. This will take a few minutes to generate and give the desired output. This was a quick demo of our potential platform. As per our understanding and experiences, we can certainly see a lot of benefits of this platform, those could be: • This would also help RDC and onsite teams to leverage different ways of writing specific sections of the report since repository would have region/office and sector specifics. • This can be incorporated/leveraged at the initial stage of the project, by this RDC can pro-actively reach out to the users and pitch for this service offering. • This would also help in building sector-specific knowledge since repository would have sector-specific analysis across regions/offices. With this RDC professionals can go beyond the workbook and contributing significantly to report writing. • RDC can be leveraged by this repository in building/preparing workbook analysis based on a specific industry/sector too.
