ESTABLISH – MARCH 1 2019 TULIP Shipping (LTD) Shipping started its operations on March 1, 2019. The founding of the shipping company was one of the first examples of Tulip’s ability to expand into new fields of business. As tulip imported substantial amounts of sugarcane, it felt that operating its own ship would make financial sense. Soon, tulip also offered reliable transport services to other customers. Tulip has vast locations over the country of the Netherlands including Amsterdam, Tulip consists of 8 employees who are also the heart of the business including Tishell Minott C.E.O, Ashley south Marketing Manager, Abbiegail Brown Forecast/Industry Analyst, Akeiradaye Reid Warehousing Manager, Diondrea Deans Global Logistics Manager, Jahiem Steele-Operation and Legal Manager, India Montaque Supply Chain Consultant and Mickaiya Channer Transportation Manager. Our longest customer relationships date back to our earliest years in the business. The First vessel- Summer 2020 The first vessel, m/s MIGHT YAM was acquired in the summer of 2019. The fleet was enlarged steadily in step with the growing demand for transport. The ships were equipped to weather the demanding conditions of the Caribbean Sea. In December 2021 Ashley south (Senior Marketing Manager) launch a new website by the end of the third quarter to promote our business which led us to hit our first largest longer-term freight agreements contract. These partnerships were bolstered in January of 2022 with the signing of our second largest longer-term freight agreement to transport 60000 tonnes of sugarcane from the Netherlands to Jamaica. At that time, Haru Haru Beauty located in the Netherlands was already one of our major customers and we also transported sugarcane for all their beauty industry. We grew with our customers and the Caribbean Sea became our established domestic market. GAIN OPERATION FLEET – JANUARY 3, 2022 Throughout our history, efficient operations and well-managed finances have been the hallmarks of TULUP LTD Shipping. This has enabled us to make it through challenging times, such as the recession years that hit on the heels of the seasonal crises. In fact, we have further strengthened our position in tough times. The operating fleet of nineteen vessels comprises four PSVs eight Anchor Handling Tug cum Supply Vessels (AHTSVs) two Multipurpose Platform Supply & Support Vessels (MPSSVs) and five ROVSVs Tulips Shipping was incorporated on January 3rd of the year 2022. TARGET MARKET Tulip shipping Ltd targets the sugar cane companies in Jamaica that are shipping sugar cane to the Netherlands and any other European countries. Henceforth, carrying out market research would be necessary for us to decipher if we have our desired target audience. Some of the sugar cane factories that we will be partnering with include: Hampden Sugar Estate-Wakefield, Trelawny Frome Sugar Factory-Westmoreland Money musk Sugar Factory- Lionel Town, Clarendon We plan to expand our services to other companies within different parishes by coordinating customer deliveries, providing the most suitable shipping options, and providing more than just transportation services.
