It was almost2 years since her father had left them and she missed him. It was a middle of a night and to solve her boredom she was watching a tv show. The show was uninteresting to her. So she held out her hand to change the remote. The heavy rain outside made her hesitate. She of course had ignored her mother’s warnings to not to swicth on the tv when it was raining. But she still reached out to the remote. BOOM !! a thunderclap outside made her look towards outside. Standing outside the glass door was a tall man he held a large bloody knife in his right hand he was laughing at Rachel. The man wore a tattered business suit with cuts in it . Rachel screamed the man resumed laughing . She quickly ducked behind the sofa on front of her she reached to the phone in the table on front of her and phoned 911.
