Agri -Wes (Z) Ltd. was established in January 1995 at FarmCentre in Zambia’s Mkushi district. The company started to supply agriculture chemicals and seed to farmers. The provision of quality product and sound technical advice was a priority from day one. In 2012 Agri-Wes expanded its service and supply platform by becoming the agents of Väderstad Verken from Sweden. Väderstad manufactures high-quality equipment and holds a couple of world planting records. From the 1st September 2014, Agri-Wes added CLAAS to the machinery product range expanding our machinery portfolio. CLAAS is based in Germany and is famous for some of the world’s best combines and hay equipment. Agri-Wes first machine and equipment workshop is based in Mkushi. We are planning to expand throughout Zambia. In 2020 Agri-Wes became the agent for Eicher tractors supplied by TAFE Motors and Tractors. Agri-Wes (Z) Ltd. is a proud distributor of agriculture chemicals from UPL – Open Ag, Real IPM and De Sangosse. Seed from PANNAR seed and equipment and machinery from Väderstad, CLAAS and Eicher tractors supplied by TAFE. Chemicals Division Agri-Wes distributes and markets quality agriculture chemicals from well-known suppliers. Our range covers herbicides, insecticides fungicides, adjuvants, biological products, foliar sprays and seed dressings. We have well qualified and experienced agronomists who provide a specialised and custom service to our customers. Farm visits and a holistic approach to problem-solving is at the core of our advisory service. Agri-Wes supply chemicals for a wide range of crops, from row crops to vegetables and tree crops. The dealerships of Väderstad, CLAAS and Eicher provide a range of equipment which caters for any farm tillage system. Agri-Wes keeps a full range of spares and has qualified and skilled people to maintain our product range.
