IDFC FIRST Bank is a 2.5 year old-bank, created by the merger of Capital First & IDFC bank. The bank had a vision of creating a world class Digital bank in India for a large social good. Accenture embarked on an ambitious journey with the bank to help define the strategic roadmap & technology blueprint to bring the vision to life. This was achieved through an Industry first - Bank of Platforms approach curated especially for the bank. The Bank of Platforms approach focused on building Hyper-personalized customer interactions and Product & channel agnostic experience to the customer, brought together through new age capabilities like AI/ML & Analytics. Through the program, Accenture co-launched 9 platform capabilities including a Digital only Credit Card Origination platform, Unified CRM platform with a 360-degree view of a customer & an analytics led Collection platform for call centre & field agents. As a result, Bank has been able to hyperscale the customer acquisition, accelerate speed to market, and deliver a Digital-only best-in-class experience for its customers & partners. The Bank of Platforms capability has resulted into a long term competitive advantage for the bank. There has also been significant improvement in metrics across Volume growth, Operational efficiency & Cost optimization, with • Issue of 400k cards within 6 month of launch [became 4th largest issuer in the country], • 40 – 60% reduction in Servicing TAT & Collection agent idle time, • USD 60000+ savings with P2P cycle transformation. The Bank of Platforms implementation has been one of its kind, and one of the biggest Salesforce implementation globally. Within India M U, the IDFC account is amongst the top 5 accounts in terms of revenue (XX USD Mn of business so far) delivering a best in class C C I of 36% and diversity ratio of 42%. The program brought together the One Accenture power into action, with Accenture Consulting, Interactive, Technology & Applied Intelligence contributing during the program lifecycle. The Industry first offering, asset & accelerators created as part of the program also helped Accenture in winning deals across marquee FS clients like I C I C I bank, IDFC bank & Kotak Mahindra bank to name a few.
