I live in Uvalde Texas, where today there was a mass elementary school shooting. I have a headache. i could hear this bullets from my house. thankfully my son does not attend Robb Elementary. the whole school district was on lock down, and as soon as i got word of the shooting i went to my sons school to pick him up, and they wouldn't let me take him, and i waited for over an hour, and his teacher peeked her head out of the door and said i'm gonna get in so much trouble for this but come get your babies' " and me and a few other parents ran in and got them. he was coloring at the table, and i just picked him up from behind and ran out to our car. this isn't supposed to happen in our small town. i know so many of the people dead. as i'm writing this, 21 are dead, and the community is panicking looking for about 15 more kids who are missing. i've been watching the news for 8 hours straight. i've been sobbing all day, everything hurts. please don't become desensitized to these massacres. when is this country going to do something. this is sandy hook all over again.
