The Rangoli is an ephemeral art. For celebrations mostly now, women decorate the ground in front of their houses by making simple or complex patterns using white or coloured rice powder. To start you can use a stencil. Stencil can be small or bigger and have different holes sizes as well. According to the Rangoli, you will use rice powder more or less thin. To do you ephemeral Rangoli at home, you can put it in a plate. Cut the small corner of your rice powder bag. Cover all the holes of the stencil and spread evenly with the fingers. Carefully, remove the stencil to discover your Rangoli. You can do also your Rangoli more traditionally directly on the ground.
